It is both the privilege and duty of pastors-teachers to equip believers in the local church for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, until we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:12-13).
To this end, under the WORD ministry, an initial tentative step is now taken to provide a more focused form of equipping and training of believers in Shalom Church, this in addition to our regular preaching and teaching ministry on the Lord’s Day. This equipping and training program shall be called the Shalom School of Theology (SSoT).
